Why did God send Jesus into the world? Rabbi Schneider shares that Jesus bridged a gap between us and God. Anyone who believes in Jesus will have eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Because the Father loves you, He sent Jesus for you. You've been chosen by the Father to be His son or daughter. Open your heart and believe God loves you. Regardless of what sin we have committed, when you repent and accept Jesus your sin judgment was placed on Jesus. Jesus died for you! Jesus took your sin so that you would not have to die in the divine exchange of mercy and grace. Jesus calls us to love our enemies as He loved us when we sinned against Him. More than anything else, as we study the Gospel of John, Jesus spent time in friendship, love, and relationship with His disciples. Make a conscious effort to spend time with Jesus. Take time to be with Him.

Mysteries in the Gospel of John Season 3: Born Again?
Tuesday Oct 25, 2022
Tuesday Oct 25, 2022
What does "born again" mean? Can you be a Christian without being born again? Rabbi Schneider of Discovering the Jewish Jesus shares what born again means, how it's possible, and that God is still in the business of doing miracles. Jesus loves you and will manifest Himself through witnessing those miracles. Being born again is not a certain type of Christian. To be born again is to be born of God's Spirit and receive His nature. We can't physically see the Spirit, but we can see the effects of the Spirit as we cannot see the wind. We need to release ourselves of only what we can see so that we can be moved by and led by the Spirit. He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Do you have ears to hear? Do you have a spiritually sensitive heart? Come learn how to be born again.

Mysteries in the Gospel of John Season 3: Expecting Miracles
Monday Oct 24, 2022
Monday Oct 24, 2022
What was Jesus first miracle? Why did Jesus turn water to wine? What is the significance of that first miracle? Rabbi Schneider shares that studying and understanding John's Gospel is profound. Jesus turns water to wine, and it is better than the wine served prior. But the significance is that as we keep our eyes on Jesus, the best years of our lives will be the latter years of our lives. Even as the outer body fails, Jesus renews our inner man. We will receive a deeper peace and grace from God. We will be renewed day by day. God shows His glory by doing something supernatural in the lives of His children. Write and keep track of the things God does in your life to give you courage as you press on. Watch Discovering the Jewish Jesus in this episode to explore and understand the Jewish roots of the Christian faith.

Where You are Looking Makes all the Difference!

“And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, 'It is a ghost!' And they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.'
Peter responded and said to Him, 'Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.' And He said, 'Come!' And Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying, 'Lord, save me!' Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, 'You of little faith, why did you doubt?'” - Matthew 14:25-31

Mysteries in the Gospel of John Season 2: Overcoming the Passive Spirit
Friday Oct 21, 2022
Friday Oct 21, 2022
Does fear hold you back from the gifts of the Spirit? Do you care more about what people think of you or what God thinks? Rabbi Schneider shares that the same gifts that Jesus used are still ours today. The same anointing that was on Jesus is on us also. Believe God for more and break out of having a passive spirit that worries about what people think rather than what God thinks. God will open greater revelation, but we have to be bold in our faith. Speak faith to doubt. Ask God to help you to have more faith. Put God first. If you'd like more information, visit DiscoveringTheJewishJesus.com
